What I love most about elopements and micro-weddings are a couple of things: One is their ease. Another is the personal heart-felt vows that couples often speak to each other. They feel more comfortable to speak their inner feelings without an audience or a small one as opposed to a large group. And where I have the most fun is with the groom, with his back turned, waiting for the bride to make her entrance. He begins to get nervous, so I start asking him questions about how they met, what line of work he’s in, what he loves the most about his bride…..anything to keep him calm! And it works!
