What do you love about elopements and micro weddings?
Well first you get to be in some of the most epic locations iin the country. These sights are to die for on their own and then add a gorgeous couple in the scene and it’s every photographer’s dream. Another beautiful part of the elopement is having an intimate ceremony. The couples can laugh, cry and even take a moment to wipe a few tears without the pressure of time or stress.
Do you have a fun story or memory to share from a memorable elopement?
I always love when couples bring personal elements into the ceremony. One memorable ceremony was when a couple tied a fisherman’s knot together with rope. The officiant told the symbolism behind the fisherman’s knot as, “Fisherman’s Knot is known as one of the strongest of all knots. Some say the rope will break before the knot comes undone. ” The couple then shared their first kiss and held the rope together as they walked down the aisle. I love personal touches and hearing the couples love story through the vows.
